Dear friends, members just to caution you about a event management company which owe people money and never bothered to settle payment. The company name is Mirage Event Management - Christopher Liew. I did an event for them in December 2008 as a photographer cost $1,200 until today he has refused to pay the amount. count not communicate with him or contact him till today. he has many reasons my father sick mother sick, pay u tomorrow e.t.c. He makes thousand promises which he does not maintain. After I realised that I could not recover the money, I conveyed the message and incident with my buddies in facebook and was surprised to note that there are many more in the queue. most people engaged him or used his service in one way or other and had difficulty collecting payment. their website looks very impressive but not trustworthy. He told me that he wants to sue me for telling people not to trust him and his lawyers will send me a letter. I replied to him saying that "you have money to pay your lawyer but cannot pay my fees." he did not respond. Until today Feb 28, 2009. I have not seen his lawyer letter I have all the evidence against him spoken to my lawyers. So this is my story. Pls bear in mind that if you wish to engage anybody do check the history of the company b4 y proceed. Let your contacts know about this matter. I am very furious that he cheated me. He gave me a cheque 3 months after he closed his UOB bank account . it is pure CHEATING. TY have a nice day
