The economy is slowly going downhill. Last week, prior to the hurricane hitting Texas, in one day, the gas went up from $3.50 to $4.29 for regular. I could not believe this. Many people panicked started buying up gas.
At the Walmart in my area, there was a long line of cars waiting to purchase gas because Walmart's gas was $3.99.
Gas stations in other areas, sold out. I am lucky that the gas in my car lasts 2 weeks.
This week we are hearing more financial stories about AIG, Washington Mutual, and layoffs at Best Buy and Circuit City.
If you are not involved in something that is bringing in additional income or have nothing on the side going for you that will help you to stay afloat during down-times, then you are not planning out your life. It is best to be ahead of the game. Don't wait for something bad to hit you before you act. Being reactive to bad situations in life is not the best plan.
It's just getting really bad with the economy going downhill. I drive a 4 cyclinder and still waste a fortune on gas. At this rate, i'll be driving my car till the engine blow's up.
Have a little side income is a great thing. You can use this to pay off those small bills, by the kid's cloth's, school supplies or just put in your savings account.
In NJ, we don't have gas station's at walmart but the price's are slowly rising. Today i just got gas (regular) for $3.49 in which was $3.35 almost a week ago. It'll prolly go up before Friday since the weekend is coming and people tend to run errands on the weekend.
Latley, i try to run all my errands in one day so i do less driving every week. Also, if you buy lunch at work, just stop doing this. You are wasting money. The stock market just suck's right now and if i check out my 401k earnings, i'll prolly jump off a bridge with weights on my leg. I'm tired right now but talking about this economy get's me all pissed off along with the mortage rates.
Even if you only earn $50 to $100 dollars a month online, that's still all profit and money you can pay towards credit cards or spend on food for the week. Every penny helps out and don't even give up on shooting for your goal's.
I know these are scary times right now, almost afraid to watch the news these days lol
You're right about even the smallest online income making a big difference to our lifestyles and from little acorns, mighty oak trees grow as someone once said so I here's to all of us and our forward thinking in getting set up / started with our secondary incomes already.
Maybe they should not be thinking the elections for now they must think of a solution to save the economy hope that they will unite for one goal and not for their own goal.
My mom last week got laid off. She has worked in real estate for 20 years and has never scene it this bad. She thinks her office will most likley close there door's cause it's just that bad.
The pres. needs to help us hard working american's out and fix the mortage issues, and a lot more. At least gas price's are going down now.
